Polly Walgren, MBA, CMM, FACMPE

Dr. Susan FelberPolly Walgren has over 25 years experience in managing medical practices, from primary care to specialty care, and with physician owned practices as well as academic practice. She is currently employed as practice administrator by West Suburban Women's Health, a 7 provider OB-Gyn practice in the western suburbs. She was formerly a principle with The Practice Doctors, a healthcare consulting firm that works with medical practices in many different facets. Polly's strengths are in streamlining operations, team building, establishing policies and procedures, and working with the reception and billing staff to maximize revenue. Polly's credentials include a BS degree in education from The Ohio State University, a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of WI, Whitewater, and she has earned her fellowship with the American College of Medical Practice Executives of MGMA (Medical Group Management Association). She is past president of the Greater Chicagoland Chapter of PAHCOM (Professional Association of Heath Care Office Management) and has earned her Certified Medical Manager (CMM) distinction. She is currently an officer with the Illinois MGMA Chapter. Polly has presented at conferences and webinars and has published several articles.

When not at work, Polly may be sewing, gardening, singing in the church choir, or traveling to visit with her children (two sons and a daughter) and grandchildren (four so far) who are the most special children ever!!
