The entire gamut of gynecologic services is available at West Suburban Women's Health. All of our physicians are expert at the management of common gynecologic problems including dysfunctional uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, endometriosis, PMS, evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears, menopausal care including hormone replacement therapy, etc. The physicians serve as specialists to many of the patients of the primary care physicians in the area who are in need of more specialized gynecologic care or surgeries. Our doctors are able to offer many in-office or minimally invasive procedures as well as a full range of gynecologic surgeries. Annual well women exams which include pap smears, complete physical exams including breast exams, and orders for additional testing such as mammograms and bone density tests are available through the physicians as well as the nurse midwives. Young women experiencing their first gynecological exam may be interested in seeing one of the midwives who can allow extra time to make the first experience as pleasant as possible.
