Madli Vahtra, DO

Madli Vahtra is a Chicagoland native, born in Chicago and raised in Wilmette, Illinois. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in Canada before spending two years in Michigan gaining valuable clinical experience. She then returned to the Chicagoland area to pursue her medical training at Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove.

Dr. Vahtra completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ascension Illinois St. Alexius in Hoffman Estates, where she trained at several high-volume, high-acuity medical centers and cared for a diverse patient population. During her final year, she served as Chief Resident.

She is currently board-eligible through the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients while providing comprehensive, individualized care. She has a particular interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Vahtra is bilingual in English and Estonian.

Outside of work, she enjoys attending live music events, catching Cubs games with her husband and friends, and running along the lakefront with her dog.
